We inherited a propane Jotul fireplace insert originally installed by a company no longer in business, and wanted some changes made to it. Several fireplace companies turned me down as they were not the original installers and said I would need to buy a whole new insert in order for them to do any work. After some back and forth with Jesse and Dave, Rettinger agreed to do the work for a fair price, and was able to source additional parts for the fireplace with no problem. Installers Mitchell and Dante went above and beyond setting the insert back into our fireplace, brainstorming ideas of how to service the insert in the future, cleaning every single part and making it look basically brand new. There was some miscommunication in the very beginning of the install, but Mitchell and Dante cheerfully completed the install to our satisfaction, despite having already completed work that they had to take apart. They both wore masks with no complaint upon our request for the entire time as well. We highly recommend Rettinger, and look forward to having Mitchell and Dante service the fireplace throughout the coming years
